Thermoelectric Cigar Cooler

The Hydra SM Personal Series Cigar Humidifier is designed to automatically regulate the humidity inside large desktop or mini cabinet humidors up to 8 cubic feet in size. Add optional external fans to extend the Hydra's humidification capabilities even further.

Seems to be working great. Only one day into using it. So far my dialed in setting are working very quickly. The flat cord that is used to not break the seal of the humidor is a great idea but appears to be made cheaply. Hoping it’s more durable than it looks.. Charles. Lawton, OK. Tue Apr 29 2025

Just cooling and no heating. Adopting Semiconductor Refrigeration Technology (Peltier Effect). The internal cabinet temperature is affected by the set temperature and ambient temperature. Best for summer use, but if you place the device indoors at 75-78 ℉ in winter, it would be suitable, too. The internal humidity is affected by the internal temperature and the water box. (It works better if with humidity control packs.)

You have to wipe down the interior with distilled water and let it sit for 24 hours before you use it . The humidor was very easy to set up and so far it's working I should have done this sooner. We took a road trip from PA to SC last week, and I followed the pre chilling suggestions (set both sections to -4° for a minimum of 3-4 hours before filling) from the reviews.. I adjusted one section to 34° after I filled the refrigerated food while leaving the the frozen food set to -4°. I did add a few freezer blocks to the tops of both sections before we closed the lids. On the trip down we stayed overnight in a hotel halfway to SC.. To my delight our food was in perfect condition when we unpacked it!! We bought this particular cooler because of the excellent reviews I’ve read.. and we are beyond pleased with it. I highly recommend this cooler!. Deborah. US. Tue Jun 23 2026
