It was out of stock for months and is seriously expensive so I knocked it down a star. At first, when I ordered it they said I wouldn't get it for several more months (we're looking at close to a year wait at this point) but it showed up just a week after my order went through. The composter itself looks sturdy though it's too new to tell for long-term durability. It was easy to put together. I had my heart set on THIS composter, and sadly couldn't find it anywhere else, trust me I looked. I planned to turn it into R2D2. Which I did. The body took the spray paint well. I bought this as an addition to my tote worm bin as the worms needed to be divided. I have a tote style for a year and wanted to try a tower. The lid does not snap on like the tote top. Whether this is going to be a problem, I don’t know. My tote has 3 coverings: plastic wrap, then paper grocery bag, then cloth held on with 2 types of bands. Just having a lid sitting on bin is the opposite of my other bin. Instructions were unclear and I emailed customer service and never heard back. No idea what or how to use the spigot. This has worked well for us. Way to out together and produces a great compost. One thing to note is that the compost can rest on the bottom ledge inside which can make it difficult to open the doors. The plastic material that was provided to creates this compost container is very flimsy and weak. When putting together the container the clips that was provided to hold the unit together was a great struggle to apply, you have to use great strength to push them down in place. Once this container is all put together, this container busted at the bottom where the door that slipped up and down, because it was to weak to hold the material inside. A grandmother already knew it, organic waste from the kitchen can be very well used as compost. The quality seems as excellent as you will see on reviews elsewhere. Only a week in for us now now and this thing is 'cooking.' Note that, as another review 'complained', the color delivered was green, not grey as pictured and described online. Thankfully I had read that review and was fine with either color. The color issue is for Wayfair customer service and shouldn't affect the product quality review. The way they show it installed on the side of the house is pretty troublesome too.
