At last, using soldering material to weld each glass at a very high temperature. The Stained glass is Much Heavy than Plastic, and couldn't been burned, normal knife couldn't cut them. I love the pattern and clean lines of this lamp. The brown, green, and orange colors go well in almost every setting. And the workmanship is exceptionally good. I only question whether it is really glass, however. A small sample of glass is included with the shade, to try and prove that the shade is really stained glass. The sample does not exactly match the shade’s glass. Also, I have another 14” shade like this one, but from a different manufacturer. The other shade admits to being high quality plastic that looks like glass. But the two shades weigh about the same. A real glass lampshade would weigh much more than a plastic one.
