I didn't give it 5 stars because the table had multiple cracks, chips, and dings. One defect looked like it had been made with a hammer - on the top of the table. Most of the most obvious defects are made less visible because of the grain of the wood and I should be able to sand out some of the others. Despite the defects I am in love with this piece.
