Item delivered by Tavarus and Larry according to the card given to me by the driver. Delivery was hurried. Media center was brought in and set down. I was asked twice to sign for delivery without being given the chance to inspect item. I ignored the request both times. I found scratches, nicks, and a broken piece of wood next to the drawer. I did not sign for the delivery; the delivery team was in too much of a hurry to leave. They said I would receive a call from Wayfair within 15 minutes. The call came sooner than that. Achmed, the customer service representative, asked about the damage. He thought it was just a scratch on one of the doors. I described the damage and he arranged to have the unit picked up and a replacement sent. The media center is beautiful. The picture on the Wayfair website does not do it justice. The entire TV stand left me with a lot to be desired. The colour is completely off from the advertisement, the fit and finish is terrible. The left side of the tv stand, as pictured, was completely bowed. I had to tighten the side as much as possible without breaking the soft low quality wood that was used. The finish on the wood is entirely inconsistent and will scratch very easily. Overall, I am quite disappointed with the product especially for 300. I’m not sure I trust this to even hold my TV.
