Glass terrariums are the preferred choice of professional Herpetologists. They offer the best viewing for your animal; they are suitable for damp and humid conditions, are hygienic and easy to clean.Glass also maintains the correct heat gradient more safely and easily-maintaining the correct heat gradient is critical to a reptile’s and amphibian’s well-being as they use external heat sources in their environment to regulate their body temperatures. In the wild these animals move around within their habitat (from sunlight to shade, or from above ground to burrows, for example) to regulate their body temperature. If they get too cool, their metabolism slows (and in conditions that are too hot or too cold, they enter states of inactivity or hibernation).Maintaining the appropriate temperature is vital to bodily functions such as digestion. It is important to provide the proper temperature conditions in order for the animal to grow and thrive. For many reptiles, it is not simply a matter of providing a constant temperature, however. They require a thermal gradient, or a range of temperatures from a high end to a low end. Thus, the animal can move to a higher temperature or lower temperature to suit its needs at any given time.

Setting up this terrarium was a breeze, and its build quality truly impressed me. The glass panels are thick and durable, the metal frame feels solid, not flimsy at all and the screen is just as sturdy. I love the flexibility of having either glass or screen sides, and the 8-inch space from the base to the doors is ideal for layering plant substrate. Overall, it's a well-designed enclosure that feels built to last. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again.. Marlyce. Springville, AL. Sat Aug 30 2025

Easy to put together if you follow the directions, but there are A LOT of parts. Great storage and space for our bearded dragon. I only gave 4 stars because there's no protection on the plastic pieces (that serve as the "glass") and they scratch immediately. Our bearded dragon glass surfed the first time she was put in and it immediately messed up the clear sections.. Michelle. TX. Sun Sep 20 2026

Just got it about 3 hours go im fone putting it together.. everything fit perfectly. The enclosure is practical. I wish i could fit an even larger one, but for the space i have this one is amazing. I'm very satisfied with the size and quality. A bit scary to work with glass. But quickly realize there was nothing to worry about. Theeverything is stabled "as" you put it together.
