This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. Comfortably sit two adults and two children. The couch is more on the firm side but comfortable. Definitely meant for sitting and not sleeping although I have fallen asleep on it a couple times.. I love this olive green sofa. Another reviewer described it as more brown than green but in my space it is the perfect dark green. It is very well made and stylish. It does show every little dimple from whatever you might have in your pocket, including a cell phone, so it makes the cushion look weird in the picture. But just a brush of the hand smooths it out. It was very nicely packaged with a reusable cover and a large piece of foam about a half inch thick. I’m very pleased with my purchase.
