With the 26" Antique Italian Urn Planter you have versatility for indoor or outdoor use while still maintaining the classic style of your urn planter.

I purchased a four of these urns eight years ago. It’s a classic style that look good, and is easy to maintain. They’re durable and survive Midwest winters (empty them, tip them over, and cover them). Last year, two of them started to show their age.. so I ordered two more to replace those. I purchased this in black. It is one of my favorite outdoor purchases! It was exceptionally packed easy to unwrap on my own. It has just enough weight to be very stable but not too heavy for me to move around. I purchased an 11 inch round planter tray to put inside to keep my 12 inch plastic planter straight. I love these fiber clay urn planters and own several of them to plant my flowers and to elevate mums and luminaries in the fall. The planter has a beautiful exterior design. The base bottom does not have drainage holes which would be fine for indoor or covered patio use. However, I VERY carefully drilled several holes in the base to allow water to drain out since I use them outdoors (3 season use). I bought 2 of these and they were larger than I thought they would be, which was a nice surprise. They don't look that rustic, but because they are pottery, they don't look cheap. Use terracotta for a touch of natural beauty in garden spaces. While the high firing temperature and quality of their glazed and terracotta containers result in a durable and frost-resistant product, they still recommend that they are stored in a frost-free covered area in winter. If left outside, water may accumulate in the container and freeze, causing the planter to crack and break. Planters that must be left outside should be covered to prevent water, snow, and ice from accumulating inside the planter.
