This is a very pretty, oversized 9' x 12' rug, especially for the price point. While the rug itself is on the thinner side, pairing it with a quality rug pad gives it a much more substantial, comfortable feel. I also appreciate that the pattern is woven rather than printed, which gives it a more elevated look than many budget-friendly rugs. The color leans more toward a soft, light gray than the warmer bark or spice tones shown in some of the listing photos. Like most rugs, the color shifts depending on the lighting, looking slightly different in natural versus artificial light. The rug arrives folded and taped rather than rolled, so there were some creases when I first opened it. I unrolled it immediately, and most of the wrinkles relaxed within 24 hours. There are still a couple of minor creased areas, but I expect they'll flatten out with a little more time (or by taping the corners down). Overall, I'm very happy - it's soft underfoot, has a nice low pile that's practical for everyday living, and looks much more expensive than it is. Absolutely gorgeous rugs and exactly what I was looking for! The color is a beautiful soft coral not a bright or harsh red with touches of blue, cream and muted tones throughout the pattern. The combination makes them very easy to decorate with, and I think they could work with many different styles, from traditional to more modern or eclectic. They look especially beautiful against our wood floors and add so much warmth and character to the hallway without making the space feel busy or smaller. Another big plus they laid flat almost immediately after I unrolled them. No stubborn curled corners, which I really appreciated. We are still renovating our house, so the hallway in my photo isn’t finished yet. The walls and doors will eventually all be painted Swiss Coffee, and we’ll be adding a more modern light fixture. This rug is a starting point for a room we are repurposing into a small den for reading & TV so won't get a lot of traffic. Having said that, it appears to be well-bound and did not have an odor (something I have read on other rug posts). There are lots of colors so lots of decorating possibilities! There is a photo with paint chips and for reference, the dark middle color in the rug matches Glidden Mountain Pine, so more green (I thought it was Navy). We are tending toward the bluey green but one could easily paint walls in off whites, beiges even peachy pink. There is far more variation in color within the design that makes it really pretty.
