Terra Cotta Bird Baths

FILLABLE FOR EXTRA STABILITY: Add sand or rocks to the middle section of the bird bath for additional stability.

Pretty bird bath. After an issue with the first one arriving damaged Wayfair was great at replacing it.. Jennifer. Abingdon, MD. Thu Jun 25 2020

Sun Pottery Classic Bird Bath has a unique, strong, locking device (not plastic). All Alcott Hill® glazed pottery and bird baths are fired in gas kilns. These are significantly more environmentally friendly than the large, standard, wood-fired "Dragon" kilns used by most of Alcott Hill® competitors. The "Dragon" kilns burn a huge amount of rubber wood at each firing which is very bad for the environment and doesn't provide even firing for the product. Alcott Hill® gas Kilns ensure more even colors and better quality products because the temperature is controllable; unlike that in the wood-fired kilns. Durable frostproof construction (up to 32 degrees F.).

Wonderful addition to our front landscaping. Very attractive.. Judith. Bostic, NC. Sat Sep 26 2026

Add an elegant focal point to the patio, deck, or lawn with this outdoor ceramic water fountain. Featuring sleek, classic lines and a ceramic construction with glazed finish this fountain is designed to leave lasting impressions. Cheerful little birds are perched on the tier edges to add extra charm. Water bubbles out of the ornamental top and down the tiers and recirculates through the fountain via a submersible electric pump. No plumbing is required, just plug it in to a standard outdoor electrical outlet when ready to operate.

Cute fountain, a bit shorter than I realized. Had some blemishes in the glazing where it looks like someone applied a different material to fix it? The instructions didn’t include a great diagram of the part labeled “leak protector” so I had to find an online instruction manual for a similar fountain from the same company, which used the same part. The pump was a bit unwieldy to position. So far it’s a pleasant sound of water, no drips. Not sure if any birds will use it, I was hoping the sphere on top would attract hummingbirds to bathe. We’ll see!. Holly. Minneapolis, MN. Thu May 15 2025

Its a bit smaller than I expected, but I still love it. I had to replace a previously bought bird bath that I purchased from Wayfair several years ago that finally weathered out. The birds took to this new one right away I am pleased. The color is very nice!! The only thing is all the attachments for the fountain cause the water to dissappear very quickly so we dont use one. This bowl is unlike anything you've ever seen! Because it is constructed of clay with plastic and fiber mixed in, you will be pleasantly surprised to find this bowl is actually lightweight, durable, and impact-resistant. It is recommended to store in an enclosed area or indoors during cold temperatures. Add elegance and function to any garden with ease. The perfect gift for the bird lover on your list! Made of 60% clay, 35% plastic, and 5% fiber.

Needed a birdbath bowl to place on my ceramic base - to replace the broken top. Though a bit smaller than the original top, the size is proportional to the base upon which it sits & allows enough room to add flat stones in the center to provide both a landing spot as well as weight to help keep it from toppling off the base (it is, after all, quite light). It’s quite attractive & natural-looking. Very happy with this find!. Sandy. Medway, MA. Sun Oct 25 2026

Attention Birders! You should choose this because of the bathing features. I looked at dozens before buying this one. It attracts birds with sound and moving water. It has a rough surface to grip so they can walk on top and take a bath, because its the perfect depth to splash in — see my video of a chickadee taking a bath.
