I was looking for a rug just inside my office deck door that would be comfortable under bare feet, dog friendly, and stay fairly low profile. This one ended up being exactly what I was hoping for. The color is a soft blend of grays that works well with my flooring and doesn't compete with the rest of the room. I especially like that the pattern is subtle and doesn't draw attention to itself. The rug feels soft underfoot, which was important since I frequently walk through this doorway barefoot. It is thin enough for a doorway but still feels comfortable. I did pair it with a non-slip rug pad to help keep it in place on my hardwood floor. I like this rug a lot. But it is REALLY tough for my (Dyson) vacuum. The fuzz is crazy and I have to empty it immediately after going over the rug once. Also, because it’s very thick, my cat’s nails are doing damage. It’s weird that I’ve had much less expensive rugs that my cat has not been able to damage at all.
