The Verde Set of 2 Rectangular Mini Baker set brings the green of Italian olive groves to individual baked-pasta service. Each lidded baker measures 8.5 by 4 by 3.75 inches with a 20oz capacity, finished in deep Mediterranean stoneware with side handles and a knob finial on each fitted lid. The narrow rectangular shape is the traditional vessel for sformato — Italian savory loaves layered with vegetables, ricotta, parmesan, and eggs that anchor antipasto boards or open Tuscan multi-course dinners. Spinach, artichoke, eggplant, zucchini, and porcini sformato all set up beautifully. Beyond sformato, the form handles individual lasagna alla bolognese, eggplant parmigiana, baked ziti, polpettone, cannelloni, and pasta al forno. The set of four serves a full table their own portion, lid lifted for aromatic steam release. Crafted from durable stoneware with a saturated, fade-resistant glaze. Dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe.

Organic silhouettes in glossy white and matte black Nested in elegance, Livia presents itself as a modern approach to tableware. Each piece features an organic look and feel over two contrasting glazes - a lustrous white and a matte-speckled black glaze. Beloved for its sophisticated simplicity, versatility, and durability, Lastra is our bestselling collection. The understated elegance, clean lines, and unique shape of the Lastra baker make it a timeless baking and serving piece. Lastra's design was inspired by the circular wooden slabs used for centuries to create the outer mold in cheesemaking throughout Italy. When fashioned together with twine, the hoop was left with a slight overlap to help maintain the shape of the cheese mold. Maestro molder Stefano Roselli incorporates the overlapping detail into the entire design, from its foot to its rim. A dark dusting on the edges of each piece suggests the ash that was used to preserve these cheeses and highlights each unique silhouette.

It’s beautiful but much smaller than j expected based on the photos. Totally my fault for not paying better attention to the measurements.. Lorie. Louisville, KY. Wed Dec 04 2024
