Fast easy set up. It’s working well at keeping my 11 pound pup in the yard. I can step over the 32” height when snow comes because then the door won’t swing. This gate is amazing! My dog is terrible about going upstairs and getting on the girls beds. We were struggling to find an attractive looking gate that was wide enough for our large stairs (and black!!! Its not brown). The gate is designed so it stays how you put it. You can stretch it or shrink it as much as desired and it just stays. I love that it slides rather than opens and closes with a door. It makes it much more versatile and compact. It comes with the option to put legs on it that can either roll or pegs to make it stationary. We did not use them because they are too wide for the stairs. This gate is awesome. The expandable fence is as described. It seems well constructed and is very easy to put together. I am going to use it to block off an area for my dog. She is smaller so I’ll be adding something at the bottom for the gap, which is not an issue because most moveable fences have a gap at the bottom. I like that these are not super heavy so I can move them into place and put them away easily. I’ll note that I recognize that my dog can push through or knock over the fence because it’s lighter in weight. I have extremely hungry deer who are not picky unfortunately! The only truly effective measure is to wrap my precious trees and plants! Thank God there are some they dislike! I am not always home to sprinkle powder or spray deer repellent which are both effective. I bought ultrasonic lights were effective at first then the deer ignored them. The skunks did not appreciate my efforts though so I had to stop using! I avoided mesh because obvious reasons but it's the only sure proof method for me. This is the second type of mesh I've used. The first was more nylon type material and was a bit challenging to work with but super flexible. I wanted this type again but was unavailable so I went with a different one. This second mesh is stiffer and more of a wire consistency but cuts easily with scissors. I would say it is more for use with stakes. The major problem I had was wrapping things too tightly so be aware it's so easy to do and then it must be loosened. Great little fence! I needed something to keep a pup out of my vege garden barrels and this was so much easier and better looking than stakes and chicken wire.
