Great bed, but be patient while assembling. Take your time. Youll definitely need more than 1 person. Another reviewer said to make sure you assemble in the room you want the bed... he was right. The packages arrived beat up. Thankfully there was no damage. Regarding the bed itself, the horizontal opening seems safereasier to open for a shorter person. The only challenge is stopping midway down to unfold the feet. I also wish there were more than 5 slats under the mattress. We added a few more, ourselves. Just to make sure it had more support. Otherwise no complaints.. Barbara. New York, NY. Sun Sep 13 2026

Instructions wrong, pilot holes wrong, needed modifying, wouldn’t fold properly, in proper hinge placement. Hardware cheap, and lots of pieces were bubbled.I should have looked at reviews before I bought this item. I have bought a lot from Wayfair and it’s usually very good but this piece was not built well. My husband is very handy and I heard him swear a LOT. Do not buy this period 0 out of 10. Stay away if you like your life. Also hardware bag was broken upon arrival. Heidi. Sun Aug 16 2026
