I just love it! We needed a clock/thermometer combo for our patio that could be seen from the house (my husbands desk looks out on the patio) and be heavy enough that it wouldn't fly off when things get windy where we live. (We get micro-bursts as well as high MPH winds where we live...) I also wanted something good looking. This hit all the marks, was a great value for what it is, plus it has a Hygrometer, which tracks humidity. The back of the unit "key holes" sit down over the screw heads and the clock itself is weighty and broad. Between both of those features, I expect it will stay put even in the windiest conditions we get around here. I cant answer this as the delivered box already made sounds of loose pieces inside even before I opened it. Upon opening, the cover glass was in pieces, some falling onto my counter. I have resealed it and am trying to figure out who can help resolve this messy situation. Perhaps it will help to note that there was half an inch foam layer on the bottom on the clock, but no such protection against the glass, and you may wish to investigate if a packer lapsed on this important count.
