There are loops along the top of the curtain to slip the curtain rod through without difficulty. The curtain is definitely not a blackout curtain, so if you are looking for a complete blocking of light, this is not the curtain for you. The curtain allows some light through, providing shaded sunlight when closed. On a standard window, the curtain reaches the floor, and each curtain fully covers the window width.
