Amazing what sticks in your head as an artist. One such memory was a project at craft camp as a child. We layered colored sand under glass to create patterns. Years later, I am still playing with patterns! Neutral colors layer on the surface of this hand-blown tapered glass vase. Pair with the additional pieces in the collection to complete the look.

I would have loved to purchase all three pieces of the set!! But I wasn't able to find one of the pieces. Really love this set of vases now that I finally received both pieces. Unfortunately I received 3 deliveries of the small vase ONLY. The final design has been hand "pulled" while still molten into the shapes you see here and also "pinched" on the front edge to add special emphasis to the bulging shape where the trip originates.
