This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. This is a small sofa (no legs) but perfect for what I needed it for...I have it in our basement family room against a wall and have the pillows on top of the back of the couch for support. This will be very handy when we have lots of family over at Christmas. The 2 lower cushions are separate, but a twin sheet fits around it so it would be easy to sleep on without the cushions separating. It would be handy if the 2 top cushions had clips that would keep the 2 cushions together in case someone would want to sleep on that part. Super easy to "put together"... just open the box, cut the plastic and the sofa puts itself together! The cushions are nice and firm. Easy to move around because there are 4 separate pieces!. I like the sofa, beautiful color but it is not as large as I thought. the delivered was not good-the package was let on the first floor of a government housing project where anybody could stole it-I have an elevator they should, at least bring it to the front of my door and let me know that is there..
