I think the high price ($50 or more) for a kitchen trash can is ridiculous but after fighting with our swivel top can, this is worth it’s price tag to be able to step on its lever and top opens and in goes the trash. Looks pretty good and was very easy to set up. Doesn’t come with batteries, that was a bit annoying. Reasons for not giving a 5 it’s not as smart as other trash cans I’ve used where if you open it and it senses that you’re still emptying something, it will stay open. This one just closes after the number of seconds, on top of your hands. You can keep it open but you have to push the Open thing and then it doesn’t close automatically, you have to push Close to close it. I love it .. it’s exactly what I wanted. It elevates the look of the room. It’s bigger than I expected which I’m happy about. There is a bin inside that you can remove for easy emptying and so you don’t have to see the bags poking out. Has a quiet closing lid too. My only issue was that it was dented.
