I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of this cabinet. It's not solid wood but it feels and weighs like solid wood, and the color and size is exactly right for my Mexican-themed Sun Room. P.S. Some earlier reviewers commented on "doors not staying shut" and similar. All I would like to say is that it is fairly difficult to correctly hang hinged cupboard doors. Try as you might, it seems one side is always uneven. Just persevere and hang the doors perfectly straight and in line with each other . . . it took me four or five attempts spread out over two hours to get them right, but I'm a skinny little old lady with COPD, and ALL of my chores could be done by my ex-husband in a very few minutes. Chest was well packed and protected for transit. Arrived in excellent condition and in good time. Unfortunately it was delivered to the wrong address, and since it weighs 95 pounds, I had to wait for someone to help me load it into my car and get it to my house. It is a lovely, quality piece, however it is much darker than the online photo. I’m disappointed but will have to deal with it because there’s no way I’m going to pack up and return a 95 lb item. And, as others have mentioned the drawers don’t open and close smoothly. In my case the middle and top drawer require a little muscle to open and close. Bottom drawer works perfectly. I like the style and color. Solid wood was out of my budget, so I went with this and it looks good. I will probably switch out the knobs for something more traditional since the ones it comes with are too modern looking. The box was heavy. Had to open downstairs and carry pieces up two flights of steps. Everything arrived without damage. Assembly took a few hours and my hands were in bad shape after using just a screwdriver.
