Once it gets wet it gets soaked through. Im afraid it will mold before it dries. Also the mechanism by which the seat hangs is just a dowel through a rod pocket through the fabric as is its a curtain and not something to support your weight. The instructions were a little difficult to follow, but with the few parts, you can figure it out quite easily. The metal frame with wood accent gives it a high end look. It is quite comfortable to sit on, even without a cushion. Not sure how the white will weather, but I think with a little care it should work well. I loved this chair but it was a little pricey. It was going outside so I wanted a wood that would sustain. There was one that had an open box price.
