The table arrived in a crate, the delivery team were great. I am using it with 4 place settings although I feel I can at least add 1 more, due to my chairs width. This one-of-a-kind item is made from the stumps and unused trunks of harvested teak trees, from ecologically managed forests. Once the tree is harvested, the remaining stumps must be removed to make space to plant replacement trees. In the past, these pieces would be harvested and then burned to dispose of them. Today we use these tree stumps and trunks to create beautiful, handcrafted pieces for your home. Coloring, cracks, and shapes will vary between items. Suitable for indoor use only.
