With exquisite craftsmanship, we have rescued the scrap pieces of teak wood that are hand assembled to create the Teak Chunk Accent Stool from being one of nature’s finest castaways. Though the shape is simple, the complexity of the parts that make up the whole illustrates the talent of our craftspeople. When a hint of texture is desired, this wood stool will bring it; it is also fitting for a number of design styles, including a contemporary, modern farmhouse, and industrial chic.

The piece is absolutely beautiful and has its own natural imperfections. It’s a nice piece that I topped with glass for extra protection. I also purchase teak oil for cleaning and sealing. The down side is ray the side table is incredibly short. With this piece it will require a tall vase or decor that will look as if the side table is taller. Very nice though and super heavy!. Alana. Make a bold statement with contrasting colors of red and brown streaks atop the natural wood grains, knots, and burls. Place one next to a lounge chair, use it as a sitting stool at an entry, set out a beautiful plant, or display your favorite photos and collectibles. Send a timeless living accessory for a housewarming, birthday, or wedding gift or just because you care. Skilled artisans hand-pick and sand down each slab of wood, preserving the natural shape, wood grain patterns, and color. Each piece of wood undergoes a multi-step process that includes recombination, polishing, painting, waxing, and finishing with a natural lacquer. With an ultra-soft rag, simply dust the surface of the tabletop and legs avoiding vigorous scrubbing as cedar is a softwood and can dent and scratch easily. It is also recommended that a sealer be applied occasionally to retain its color and stability.
