This was solid, well the replacement. When I got the chaise it had come damaged, customer service was second to none and sent me a replacement. After 5 years the chaise is still going strong. The lounge chair is well built but the instructions and labels on the legs are very unclear. There is a big difference between front legs and rear legs and there are NO markings on legs or instructions to advise of the difference. I am very mechanically knowledgeable and it took me a few times assembling and disassembling legs before I figured out the difference. These chairs are a homerun. A expensive boutique look but at an accessible price. They have a handmade (in a good way) artisan made look and feel to them. No bolts or screws are used, but dowels instead. This gives them a nice clean, and elegant look. The woven seat and back are threaded through cutout notches that also give it that artisan feel. It is very sturdy and solid. The low profile is another big plus for me as these sit outside a master bedroom patio and didnt want them to block the view. The biggest plus is they came already put together! The only thing I would possibly tweak is moving the back bar on the seat a touch further back....but other than that they are absolutely perfect and just what i was looking for.
