This chair is a great value. I love the real wood base and the fabric is really nice too (I have the beige linen) The cushions were vacuum packed upon arrival and therefore a bit wrinkled, but I hit them with my hand steamer and that problem was quickly and easily resolved. It was easy to assemble, I did it myself in about 15 minutes. The only negative for me is the screw hole covers. They are plastic which feels cheap for such an otherwise quality piece. I wish they were wood that matched better. Thats why I give it 4 out of 5 stars. Love my chair--looks great in the sun room. I'm giving it a 4-star because for this price there ought to be plugs to cover the screw holes/heads which are not attractive. Assembly was a challenge because the diagram wasn't very useful. The best thing it shows is which size screws go into which holes and a general idea of how to assemble the chair. But once assembled everything fit together very well. As an assembly FYI: 1. The bottom of the chair has 2 'tongues'--the long one goes to the front and the short one goes to the back. 2. Don't screw everything together until you have fitted everything in place. We tried to screw one section together and then go to the next section but found it didn't work so we fit everything together and then tightened the screws. 3. The chair is beautiful. It’s wide and sturdy and incredibly comfortable. I put it together by myself in about an hour and it likely would have taken less time but I was watching a movie while assembling it. The only complaint I have and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is that the screw holes for the seat are challenging to reach with the Allen wrench and the wood had a slight bend to it which complicated it further. I ended up only able to secure the seat with 3 out of 4 screws. Still, I’m very happy with the chair overall.. Mckala. Austin, TX. Sun Jul 19 2020
