The hamper that fits the space you don't have. Every bathroom has that gap — between the vanity and the wall, behind the door, the narrow strip beside the washer. Round baskets curve themselves right out of it. This one doesn't. The Ludmila half oval has a flat back panel, so it sits flush and gives the floor back. Set the lid on top and the laundry goes with it — no pile on show, no tidying before anyone comes over. 16.9" x 13.8" x 20.5", tall enough for a week of washing or an armful of throws when it moves out to the living room. Inside the weave, a full iron frame holds the shape load after load, and the water hyacinth is real, hand-woven in Vietnam — warm, a little golden in daylight, nothing like moulded plastic. Lid closed, and the room is done. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Natural fibre may arrive with a faint grassy scent that fades within a few days in a ventilated room. For indoor use.
Absolutely love this hamper! It’s light to carry and so ideal against a wall and takes up less space. It is made well, which I wasn’t so sure about at first, and seems it will hold up well. The lid is attached so it’s easy to keep it all together while taking out laundry. I just wish it had a better way to take the whole bag out when needing to carry laundry without un-tieing bag the whole time.. Ladybug. Miller Place, NY. Sun Oct 04 2026
