It took me a long time to find a medium height cabinet for an alcove in my foyer.Im pretty happy with this. I was nervous with all the reviews that it was hard to put together and that the doors dont close. It took less than 2 hours and if your doors dont close its likely you installed them upside down (as we did the first time). My only minor complaint is the color is more yellow-toned than depicted. This looks even better in person! I love it in my space. The doors slide and are perfect for the tight space. I’m not sure I’d want these sliders for daily access, but for occasional access it’s perfect. Two adjustable shelves with a few height options are included. I love the cabinet and the pulls. They look great. The legs-well you get what you pay for- the legs are painted beige and low quality, with a bit of black plastic showing oddly, but are not very noticeable. I may swap them later but, due to the imperfection, we installed them twice in order to get the worst ones in the back. The back of the unit is finished but you can see the fasteners so that you may not want it visible, but looks good enough. All in all, for the price, I am thrilled.. Sacha. San Francisco. When I saw this beautiful sideboard on sale, I was both excited and skeptical. However, after reading the details and purchasing on “blind” faith, I must say that I’m very pleased with the final results! This easy-to-assemble piece instantly added a classy vintage vibe to my office. With a ton of shelf space, it perfectly marries design and practicality, making it one of my new favorites. My only critique is about the wood and material quality. It works nicely for what it is, but it can be easily scratched or dented, especially during assembly. This is a super cute desk, even nicer than I expected. The wood grain finish makes the black look so special and unique. It seems really sturdy, except for the sliding doors, they might not hold up to heavy use. It’s ok, though because I will still be able to use the shelves. It wasn’t the easiest to assemble, I wish I could take away a half star for the unclear instructions.
