These are nice storage cabinets. It took about 8 hours to assemble two units. We put 2 of these cabinets in a nook in a bedroom. They fit perfectly Instructions were clear and helpful. The shelves are stationery but will hold many things. We like the added glass doors at the top, which make it a little nicer in appearance. I gave 4 stars because 1 of the tall doors came with only 2 holes bored for the hinges. So we had to wait for it to be replaced before we could finish. Wayfair is very fast to respond to damage or parts issue and they worked with the manufacturer to get the door replaced in just a few days! It did take 2 people to place the top of the unit onto the bottom half safely. This is a very nice piece and went together very well. I got two of these and they are perfect. My father made some kind of extended anti-tipping wall anchors since I wanted the shelves on a wall with a baseboard heater so they were a bit far from the wall for the anchors they come with. I included photos. Please ignore my empty photo frames. I needed to stage the shelves so I'll know exactly how it all fits. The shelves are a beautiful color and exactly what I was looking for. Beautiful cabinet! Very solid piece and looks more costly than it is. Well worth the 8 hours it took to put together. :) We added it to a spare bedroom used as a workout room/reading room. It has plentiful storage for hiding and organizing things you don't want out in the open, while still having a nice space to display those miscellaneous collectibles one acquires on trips abroad. The light feature has 2 different temperatures (cool/warm) which elevate the entire piece. We store our board/card games in the cabinetry/drawers as well as craft supplies, small photoshoot props, office supplies, etc. The height is impressive! I haven't styled the glass shelves yet. The pictures are a little misleading not saying its a bad shelf its definitely a good one but im pretty sure they use Ai for their photos because it dosent look as good as the photos. The metal frame is about half as thick as it appears to be in the photo and I feel like that makes it not look as bold I guess. Still a solid shelf for a good deal. I will say this it took me about 2 hours to put together with power tools and I'm very experienced building thing's so if you aren't very mechanically inclined maybe bribe a handy friend that has some power tools because if you put this together with the hand tools in The kit you're gonna be there a while.. the bookcase is great. the color is slightly off from the pictures but i expected that based on reviews and it matches my other furniture as a result. maybe have more ergonomic philips head screwdriver ready because the one it comes with hurt my palm quite a bit. only complaint is the mechanism to keep the bookshelf from tilting was confusing. im just going to get a different earthquake strap..
