I love the simplicity and low profile of this patio umbrella base stand! It says it’s 40 lbs. but it feels much heavier than that! It was extremely easy to assemble, five minutes! I’ve had my umbrella opened since I installed it and we’ve had rain and wind for the past week and this umbrella has not wavered or moved an inch! I’m in the process of finding a new outdoor table with an umbrella hole, and I have no worries that this base will keep the umbrella steady. I like the fact that it come with several hole adjustments for various size poles. I had to use the 1.5 inch hole tube. Update, have a new table with the umbrella hole. It is really nice quality and I was skeptical at first because of the price but this was a great buy! Very easy to assemble the 3 screws with the Allen wrench all included. Very nicely and simply packaged as I didn't even need a scissor to remove any package inclusives. It arrived with a little dent in the metal mesh but easily pushed it out in place with a hard object.
