Just what I was looking for! Really nice quality piece for the price and fits my space perfectly. Fairly straight forward assembly, a bit heavy so would be easier with two people. I used a drill which saved a lot of time. Took about 1 12 hours. There is a support piece that comes down from the top of the table a bit, so if you want stool that slide all the way under, opt for something 29 inches shorter (mine pictured are about 26 inches). This is a very cute islandtable! The countertop itself is pretty heavy duty. The rest of the wood is somewhat lightweight. Overall,, assembly instructions are fairly easy to follow. The most challenging part of assembly is the final alignment of the counter top to the base and legs. The holes do not align perfect and you will need significant pressure on top to fit the top on to the base correctly. Additionally, there are no spare screws, so if you break one (likely), you will not have all of the necessary hardware to complete it with all of the screws as required. Otherwise, if you can manage to successfully get it assembled, it looks very cute and seems well functional!. Barry. Tinton Falls, NJ. Fri Aug 28 2026
