Perfect for our new bathroom decor. I really like the swinging lid as it is nice to cover the unapealing trash and keep things looking tidy but it is rather awkward to work the more common foot pedal design when sitting on the toilet. I searched carefully for a trashcan that would both look good in the kitchen and be the right size for a small household (1- 2 people). This one is perfect. I chose platinum because I didn’t want it to be too shiny. It’s tall enough (26 inches) to hold a 13 gal., tall kitchen trash bag, but narrow enough (11.5 inch diameter) that I can still open my cabinets. (See photos.) The capacity is only 8 gallons, but if the bag has a drawstring, it’s easy to make a 13-gal. gal bag fit well.
