I love it! It’s very well made, the assembly instructions are great and it only took my husband about three hours to assemble it. I love the textured laminate since it will be easy to dust. The drawers are a bit “shifty” from side to side, but very sturdy. I use the top for my collection of "chicken pitchers" and the shelf for cookbooks, etc. and the drawers for kitchen linens. the bookcase is great. the color is slightly off from the pictures but i expected that based on reviews and it matches my other furniture as a result. maybe have more ergonomic philips head screwdriver ready because the one it comes with hurt my palm quite a bit. only complaint is the mechanism to keep the bookshelf from tilting was confusing. im just going to get a different earthquake strap.. The bookshelf is wonderful. Very sturdy and it looks high quality. As you can see I am using for our tv and it’s deep enough where the hdmi cords have room to be plugged in horizontally into the back of the tv. One heads up though, the package is HEAVYYY so be ready to have someone help you carry it in. Other than that, once it was built (which the assembly was so easy) it wasn’t to hard to move around to where I wanted it. Exactly what I was looking for. Trying to match 1950's dinning set with a stain color not used much anymore. this is as close as I will ever get.
