*Perfect* fit behind the entry door to my small apartment. It does not impede opening at all, and adds a lot of space to simply PUT THINGS DOWN as you come in. I put it together myself and only had to re-do one shelf - in other words, the directions were very good because I am horrible at furniture assembly. Its a great size, about 5ft tall and 12 wide with plenty of storage on the multiple shelves plus a drawer. It was easy to put together, although the directions could definitely be better since its basically only pictures, no written instructions. Very good quality. Assembly was a bit challenging and took me several hours. There are cam locks included to make connections secure and those took a while to figure out. I also had to buy a stubby Philips head screwdriver to fit into the space between shelves to tighten the cam locks. It all came together though and it’s exactly what I needed.
