10 feet is really tall! I am disappointed that the top section of my tree is not straight, so that when attached to the bottom, the tree does not stand erect but slants noticeably. Some of the width can be controlled by how you choose to fluff it out. I decided to place it in a larger container and will fill the container with rocks or moss to complete the look. I now own 4 of these trees, use them as a screen between my back deck (outside) and my neighbor's. They are incredibly lifelike. Upon opening there is a faint odor that dissipates after a few days. Trees come very well packaged, and though "branches" are bent you can reshape them. The height is only attainable with the highest branch straighened. The pots naturally collect some rainwater, so I use mosquito donuts to prevent insect infestation. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the 84” Birch Tree in Pot. It was packaged somewhat carefully and only had 3 limbs to slip into place. Fluff the limbs annd branches out just a bit before putting into place on the tree trunk and it’ll save you some time. The leaves were realistic, though some had become crinkled, apparently when they were slipped into their separate bags for shipping, but just a little patience in turning them into shape seemed to work. Just the tree I was looking for. Its huge and full. It is natural looking and already came in a big pretty pot. It has many branches and a lot of leaves. The color of the leaves and stems are muted and realistic looking. The trunk and branches have a bark texture to it. The top of the pot has a faux green moss to make it look clean and complete.
