I searched through a ton of listings for 4- to 5-foot topiaries and trees, trying to find something that would look realistic enough for our front deck, where real trees and shrubs aren’t happy. This is definitely more of a cedar tree look than a cypress, but it actually looks pretty realistic in person. If you get up close, you can see how plastic the needles are, but at least they are molded and closer to the shape of actual cedar needles than your classic bottle-brush fake Christmas tree. They have that rubbery, real-touch feel, so we will have to see how well they stand up to dust and the elements—I have a feeling they are going to be hard to keep clean. The trees arrive in multiple sections, but it isn’t that hard to fluff them out so they look more natural.. Carrie. Grass Valley, CA. Wed Oct 07 2026

Featuring built-in ground stakes for quick, stable installation, they are perfect for flanking front doors, lining garden paths, or placing in large patio planters. Enjoy year-round, maintenance-free greenery.

These are great looking topiary trees, and are very full so the base doesn't show through. The color fluctuates slightly to show a realistic "wear" to the foliage. I will say, these are very small. The description is accurate, but the 48 inches includes the stake height, so the trees themselves from the base to the top are closer to 27 inches if you want to hide the stem as well. If you want these tall for an entry way, I suggest tall planters and the stakes can be added right into the media. If you're looking to plant directly in your yard, the stakes feel very sturdy; just keep in mind they don't take up a big amount of real estate so you'll probably need multiple.. Brooke. Boca Raton, FL. Fri Oct 09 2026
