We really liked the look of this tall rattan cabinet right away. It has a nice aesthetic and fits well with our space, and overall it wasn’t too difficult to put together compared to some other furniture we’ve assembled. The biggest challenge during assembly was getting the doors properly aligned. That part took the most time and patience, but once adjusted, it looked good and functioned as expected. The main downside for us is the drawer design. They don’t pull out very far, which makes them less practical than we hoped. Reaching items toward the back is a bit of a pain and ends up being the most frustrating part of using it day to day. I purchased this for extra storage in our bedroom. I was especially pleased that the dimensions were exactly as described since I needed the shelves to fit specific items. The product fit the space perfectly, is well-constructed, and looks much more expensive than it was. One caveat is that it does take some time and patience to put the piece together. My husband is in the construction business and does a lot of woodworking projects as a hobby. Even so, it took the two of us almost three hours to assemble. I love these!! I purchased 2 for my guest room. They were easy to put together, take your time and think it through and it is a snap. I will say that the smallest screws that are provided are annoying and they did not hold well, especially putting the doors on toward the end - but I still gave it a 5 star rating - they were VERY cost effective!!. I had to find some that were a tad bit longer from my box of leftover screws. I also used some Wood Glue when screwing the doors to the frame. Not bad for this "elderly" woman!! :). Melinda. Husband and wife tag team to put together the armoire. The first one took 2 hours, the second one took 1.5 hours and the third one took 1 hour so in total 4.5 hrs. We had EDM music playing in the background so it kept us motivated throughout the process. The directions were very easy to follow.
