This chest is absolutely stunning. It looks exactly like it is pictured online. The whole chest is solid, well made, and it is very heavy. The drawers are soft-close and can hold quite a bit, however the drawers are not particularly deep. The granite is beautiful and since this chest is so large there is quite a bit of granite surface area. I purchased this for my office but it would look beautiful in a bedroom as well. In fact, I kind of want the bedroom set after seeing this in person. I am so happy with this purchase. The dresser arrived in good condition, but the box was filled with confetti that served no purpose except to really aggravate me. Putting the dresser together was difficult. The pictures did not help much. Everything had to be adjusted and redone. Two boards along the back were not long enough and this is problematic when everything is held together with pins and bolts. This is a beautiful piece of furniture. Love the sturdiness. It did have one small ding (of course on the front) and the bottom drawer does not want to go completely in. It sticks out just a tiny bit. It isn’t very visible but I notice it every time I open and close that drawer. I am not sending it back just because of these two issues.
