This is a very nice cabinet. Assembly is the cam and lock style which is very common for furniture. If you've done that before, assembly is easy. If you haven't, just go slow and follow the directions. They are pretty self-explanatory. Assembly can be done by one person, but there are a couple steps where it would be helpful to have a second set of hands. It took me nearly a year and being on an out-of-stock wait-list to find the perfect shelving unit that combined fashion with functionality and here it is, finally! I actually purchased two of these, one for each corner of my dining room. I like the bold black framing, as it ties in my other modern decor while the light colored wood brightens the space highlighting my plants and decorative accents. It was pretty easy to put together aside from the doors on the cabinet (but that could just e because I'm not very good at hanging doors ). The cabinet has enough space to house an air fryer with a little room to spare. It was very important to me that the shelving unit had a bottom cabinet since my kitchen doesn't have the space to hold all my small appliances. Took about 2 1/2 hours for me to assemble by myself. Has about 40 steps while there are a lot of pieces it does look nice. I ended up going with the black and walnut colors, but the one thing I couldn’t get right were the drawers. Couldn’t get the reveals even after making multiple adjustments. I only have 2 things that made me give this a 4 star instead of a 5 star. 1. It's not "white". It's more like an antique white with a woodgrain finish. It appears more like a gray color. 2. One of the side pieces that have the door hinges attached was slightly separated from the rest of the piece. I used a rubber mallet to try to secure it a little more. It should still function as expected and as long as it's not manhandled, it should suffice. This is in a small bathroom without much excess room or storage. It serves the purpose we needed.. Barbara.
