These are huge! And perfect for our streets cul-de-sac, they make a statement. They were lightweight enough for a 60 something woman to unbox. With help, we drilled a larger drainage hole from the inside and filled it with rock and sand. That still leaves you with half of the pot to hold dirt and plants. They are now so heavy that hopefully they can withstand what Florida can dish out. They have remained as bright as when first placed. I was really surprised when this planter arrived packaged in a flat box; at first I thought it was a mistake- but it was all in there. The planter is a hard plastic (waterproof) and it requires assembly, but it was pretty simple and I had it together in about 20 minutes. It was listed for a good sale price so even though I won’t be able to use it outdoors till next season, I am keeping it indoors for now so my floor plant can reach some daylight- But it’s going to be perfect for the peach tree I want to grow next spring!.
