Husband and wife tag team to put together the armoire. The first one took 2 hours, the second one took 1.5 hours and the third one took 1 hour so in total 4.5 hrs. We had EDM music playing in the background so it kept us motivated throughout the process. The directions were very easy to follow. These are really nice shelves. Because they're custom and not 'off the shelf' you can maximize the shelf size and not lose as much space as you do with set sized shelves. They are a bit pricey, but they are very well made and good quality. I wouldn't hesitate to get them again for other cabinets. We finished the cabinet and now have a lovely closet piece that works very well in its established place. This boxed gem came with an extra surprise of much laughter and memories in its assembly!
