Set up a little while ago layers snap but don’t seem very tight. Its much louder streaming than I thought, tried adjusting pump but haven’t gotten it to sound smoother trickling. The top bubbler is very wobbly. All in all the fountain looks nice just need to tweak the pump I guess. Not very easy to adjust the pump sine it’s enclosed. I ordered this a few months ago along with one other, but just different colors. The 1st 2 that were shipped to me were in pieces when I got it. So today I was pleasantly surprised when the 3rd one shipped completely in tacked. When I compared this one to two others I have, discovered that the ceramic is very thin compared to the others. This is probably the reason these broke during shipping. Wayfair was great during this process. Shipping the broken ones back was not very convenient, I thought a picture showing the planter was broken would have been enough. This fountain is the first thing I put in a new home. I always get a fountain but usually not one so big, and then I usually wish it were bigger. So I went in on this one because I loved the color and the overall shape. I recommend it. I don’t like putting things together but this was easy enough (having put fountains together before). I knew it would splash so I also got an outdoor rug (Wayfair as well) for it, and I will say when I fill it up as much as I like to it does splash beyond the rug by a couple of inches or so. Not a huge deal for the room it’s in. Now, the color. If you like the color get the fountain. I’m happy every time I see it, day or night. I love the lights at night. I just unplug it when I travel (and I travel alot) or when I want to give it a break. I’m very happy with my purchase, in fact at first for some reason I thought it was 100-200 and I had to decide again if it was worth it when I realized it was over 500. I decided it was worth it to me for this new home to have a dedicated fountain room up front, since I loved the color so much and really just thought it was the right one. There was one that was similar and around half the price but for a beige-y neutral color. I just loved the blue, and I am glad I went for it. It’s for a memorial room in the house that will be very peaceful to rest in with a long Vignelli bench and some other minimalist items, sort of a meditation vibe. I thought at first the sound was maybe a little loud for inside even though I like a strong water sound with a fountain. But I now love it and wouldn’t change it. It sounds a bit like filling a bath, so I had to get used to that at first to assure myself a bath wasn’t running over. Anyway, long review but hope it helps you decide on this fountain. I would buy it again in a heartbeat and will probably buy one for a friend this week as she has told me she listens to the video on her phone all the time that I sent her. It’s a winner!. Elizabeth. The perfect addition to our deck to make a peaceful little water oasis. Since the planter on the side and top dont have drainage holes, I opted to add my own little potted plants set inside. I love that it is solar powered and you can charge it back up with a little phone power bank or USB plug. You'll want to add water every day or so as there is evaporation on hot days and the water level can get too low if you don't. The sound is soothing like a little stream too! I love this item! I am in love with this. It's just what I wanted. I've had it now for about a month or two and what I noticed is that there are these velcro strips at the top that subtly catch any debris, but mostly it has stayed super clean and nice looking. The fountain sound is really soothing and the lights are a nice touch. Everyone comments on how nice it looks. I created a sort of flow from it in my planter with River Rock I bought on Wayfair as well and a fake rock cover for the electrical. Easy to put together.
