[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's the best knife I've ever had. I had to decide if I was going to keep it at home or use at work in my commercial kitchen. Ultimately, I decided I wanted it all to myself. It has the perfect weight, and it's so sharp. The design is a huge perk. I'll definitely get the others.. Haleyt11_454107. Tue Nov 26 2024

High-carbon CR17 stainless steel blade. To boost its sturdiness, the steel contains 0.6-0.75 carbon. This makes it two times as hard as other knives in its class, as they contain about 0.3% carbon. Beautiful pattern: the special waved pattern blade is particularly striking (CR17 stainless steel kitchen knives, not real Damascus). Your investment is fully guaranteed. We offer a lifetime warranty and return policy. Ultra-sharp edge: it features an HRC (Rockwell hardness scale) of 57-58, which makes it among the toughest knives in its class. The thickness of this kitchen knife is 2.5mm. Ergonomically shaped handle: The blade of this chef knife is seamlessly integrated with the soft and comfortable Pakkawood handle, creating a perfect grip. The ergonomic shape strikes the right balance between the handle and the thin blade, ensuring ease of movement.

Firstly, looking at it, it is a beautiful knife. I expected it to be a little heavier, but decided to try it before judging. It cuts through everything flawlessly, and I can see now that I was wrong with the initial thoughts on the weight. I can cut strawberries paper thin, as well as onions and raw chicken. Beautiful knife hits well above its price point. I have been owning and using Japanese knives in professional kitchens for the better part of 3 decades and this knife performs as well or better than knives from misono, Masahiro and others and costs far less. It’s also much more user friendly, sharpened on both sides, stainless, and a more traditional shape- if that works for you. At 109 bucks it’s a steal. Get one!. Sean Conroy. Colorado Springs.
