This couch fit our needs nicely. The sofa bed is a bit smaller than expected but will still work for what I need. It will need a mattress topper to make it comfortable for longer stays but I feel most sofa beds do so that’s not really an issue for us. It was very easy to put together had no issues. The cushions did fluff up a bit after a few days and are ok but the back cushions could us a bit more stuffing to make it more comfortable, so I will probably purchase some to add to it. This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. The seat part of the sofa is not hard but not soft. I would say medium to soft but this is understandable given it is a sofa bed and I am overall very impressed with its comfort. Nice sturdy sofa bed though the brown is more greyish which I like. Throw pillows are very ugly so they aren’t staying but the couch is very nice. Will replace included inner spring mattress with a good memory foam one but I am very happy with the quality of the couch UPDATE 3 months later and the fabric of this couch pulls terribly.
