Just received this product yesterday, quick shipping. I bought two to replace my nightstands for extra shoe storage. Love the color. Sturdy and heavy. I put them together by myself, took about 3hrs. Doors are a little complicated to adjust to get them perfectly even but with a little patience and tweeking (as noted in the directions) they turned out great. Other photos show gaps in the doors when closed or not even when installed. There is a way to adjust these one hanging easily but the reviewers must not have followed these last directions. I tried to get a close up of the doors in the picture. You can see they turned out even after tweaking and patiences based on very last instructions that clearly others skipped.. Rebecca. Nice piece. I purchased in the darker wood. The handles are plastic and cheap. I purchased new ones in metal more substantial for the cabinets. I did have one piece with the drawers damaged. For the price, I think this is an okay piece. It definitely does not feel high end but it does look nicer than I expected. It took me 1 hour to build by myself. I had trouble getting the doors to line up correctly so they look slightly uneven. It is kind of wobbly feeling so I would not recommend for a high traffic item. For me, it will just hold serving ware so it is more for the aesthetic. It fits my area perfectly. Hopefully one day I will upgrade to a solid wood piece but this will do the job until then..
