This is the second Seville cabinet we have gotten and I would buy more. They are sturdy and have great directions and simple design which make them easy to assemble for 1 person. 1 issue with this 24" version is that the holes for cables in the back are too small for most of our 3 prong power cables - the hole is too small if there is even a small tip attached to end piece - many of our power cables have multiple outlets so we need to pass the male end through and they generally don't fit. The other thing to note - but definitely not of much concern to us, was that the little grey "EZ assembly" (something like that) pieces cannot just be pushed in by hand. We had to hammer them as part of the door hanging which is the only place we used them. These little grey pieces were not part of our larger cabinet - which we built first - so we kind of ignored/missed using them in other places, no doubt. Finally, our larger version of this cabinet has wheels but this one does not - wish I had noticed that earlier. If the cable holes were larger and if it had come with wheels, it would easily be a 5.. On top of that, one of the door hinges arrived dented, so we had to purchase a new pack ourselves. Strangely, the set came with extras of every other screw except for the door hinges. I bought this cabinet to store some hobby/craft materials that were sitting in plastic tubs in my tiny apartment. The box was very beat up and torn on arrival, and I was afraid the parts would be too, but they were packed well and nothing was missing. Putting it together was a bit of a nightmare. The instructions were all pictures and hard to make out in spots, and I struggled. I called customer service for help and they hooked me up with the manufacturer (Wayfair's CS is better than I expected). They eventually sent me a digital version of the instructions that let me magnify the drawings, but by the time they did so, I'd figured it out. It's MDF that's slightly better quality than a big box store. The back and the drawer bottoms are strong cardboard -- they could be better, honestly. I accidentally put one piece on the wrong end and the cam holes broke; luckily, I had some construction adhesive and was able to fix them (the repairs are on the inside so no one will see). The screw holes for the door handles are countersunk but not deep enough for the screw to poke all the way out, so I had to basically destroy them to get the handles on. Hanging the doors was hard and they're a tiny bit off, but they work. The cabinet is not only big enough to hold all the hobby items but some extra stuff that was in my closet. :) I don't know if it will survive a move, but we'll see. I hope so, since it actually works really well for what I needed and it's the perfect size for the space. Overall, I'm satisfied, but I HIGHLY recommend you have help putting this cabinet together. The top is very heavy once assembled and I still don't know how I managed to get it on by myself. DO NOT use a drill to assemble it -- you will strip the screws and the holes. An electric screwdriver has less RPM (I was cursing myself for not buying one the entire time). It's a little expensive for what it is so wait for it to go on sale like I did. :). Elizabeth . I’m reviewing these cabinets, but I’ve just put them together and I’m trying to figure out the best way to hang them. They were very easy to put together and they seem sturdy enough. Definitely worth the $119 I paid, and should serve my purpose for garage cabinets. The reason I gave them four stars has to do with how they recommend hanging the cabinets. I’m not comfortable with hanging them on the sheet rock with anchors. I’d like to be able to screw them directly to the studs in the wall, but the pre-drilled supports on the back of the cabinets are not spaced for standard stud spacing in a home, which is 16 inches on center. I think I’ll secure a 1 X2 anchored to the wall studs underneath the row of cabinets so that will bear the weight of the cabinets and their contents versus the wall anchor.. David. Loudon, TN.
