We enjoy the patio set! Shipping and delivery were great. Cushions seem too have broken in really well, but they tend to move around a lot on the base of both the chairs and couch. It would be great if there were upgraded cushions with at least something to attach them to the Ratan backs. If this was done on the bottom cushions I believe it would help with the backs as well.. This is definitely a nice set. The star of the show is the wicker. It’s pretty of course but also very nice quality with a nice pliability. It doesn’t look or feel cheap and plastic-y like some wicker (real and fake). 2 minor points that made me take off a star the first is that the back cushions, while comfortable, fall downblow away with high wind... a bit more so than other sets I’ve had. I may try to find a solution with either sewing or Velcro or something like that. The second point, and I more or less knew this going into the purchase, is that the backs are low. We’re all fairly small, and it’s still quite comfortable. I really like this sofa. I got royal blue and it really looks great on my deck. It was packaged great and only took about 30 minutes for 2 people to assemble (the only reason you need 2 people is so one can hold pieces while the other screws them in). All the holes lined up and the parts were perfect. I really wanted a high-backed sofa so I could have my neck supported and doze more easily - and they perfectly fits the bill. I only have 2 minor issues. As another reviewer said, the fabric is scratchy. Now, it's waterproof so It's not going to be super soft but I didn't like the way it felt on my bare arms. It's also hot, which I attribute to the waterproof nature negatively affecting breathability. But, it holds the heat of the day for quite a while after the sun has set. I found the cushions to be thick, firm, and very nice otherwise. But I could slightly feel a vertical bar behind my end/back cushion and it bothers me every now and then. I am a large person but not heavier than the weight capacity of the sofa (by far) so I don't know if my discomfort had to do with my size. I did not purchase the Carolina ottomans - the ones you see in the photos are by the same company but are called Gaetanino Wicker Outdoor Ottoman - I love them. I recommend this sofa!. Lisa.
