They are easy to put together. Positioning the slipcovers for a perfectionist was, of course, tedious. They look great. The mechanism swiveling and rocking is very smooth. The bottom cushions’ slipcovers are like cotton lining fabric. They don’t show and you can wash them, but you cannot flip them. These are inexpensive,but don’t look it. Not 5 or 10 year chairs. Very good for flat-pack furniture. All the parts were packed and marked well. The instructions were clear (although I didn’t match the sides of the ottoman correctly for the lift mechanism and had to redo them—totally my error). I’m a female over 70 and put them together by myself—a bit more than an hour per piece. The “green” color is more greengrayslate than a true green.
