At first, I thought I had tightened the Allen screws that secure the extending pole, but I hadn’t, and it slipped. Once I fixed that, everything held firmly. I assembled it on the second floor and then moved it to a third-floor bedroom. There was quite a bit of shaking due to the arc shape, but it maintained its structure without any issues. I absolutely love this lamp. I’m writing this review after having it a couple years and it has never had any issues. It’s the perfect size where it doesn’t get in the way but still has presence. The three fixtures float and are flexible, so they fall back into place if they get bumped. It uses a simple foot pedal to power onoff.
