Just what we needed for our new 12’ x 12’ cantilever umbrella to be able to move it around. Very big and sturdy base that supports the umbrella well. The only issue my husband was worried about was the fact smaller rocks could easily fall out through the large hole screen it comes with in the bottom of the squares. I'm very happy with this umbrella stand. I love that you can roll it around and also lock the 2 wheels into place if you need to. My patio is pretty level so it doesn't move much, even if there is a breeze into the umbrella. I would remind you, the more sand I put into the stand, the heavier it got and the heavier it was to roll around. Depending on your umbrella size, mine was a 10', you may want to add sand or water to the base to counter balance and secure the umbrella in stages or a couple of times, only adding what you might need? This umbrella is absolutely huge—great coverage, but definitely something to consider if you have a smaller patio. It takes up more space than you might expect. It’s extremely durable and very heavy, which makes it feel sturdy and secure. One thing that isn’t obvious in the product images is that the base is also massive. As you can see in my photos, it has a large footprint, so you’ll want to plan your layout accordingly. That said, the quality is excellent. At the 300 price point, you truly get what you pay for. The 12 ft umbrella is exactly what we needed for our pool area to provide some shade. Assembly took about an hour to put it all together. I love that it came with a base, but note that you need a lot of sand to fill the four sandbags that are inside of the base.
