My husband assembled by himself and he said it was easy…just took a little time. The only thing he didn’t like was the base that came with it. This umbrella is absolutely huge—great coverage, but definitely something to consider if you have a smaller patio. It takes up more space than you might expect. It’s extremely durable and very heavy, which makes it feel sturdy and secure. One thing that isn’t obvious in the product images is that the base is also massive. As you can see in my photos, it has a large footprint, so you’ll want to plan your layout accordingly. That said, the quality is excellent. At the 300 price point, you truly get what you pay for. This was super easy to put together as long as you’ve got some muscle available! Make sure you notice that it doesn’t come with the weighted bottom. The one in the photo was purchased additionally so just as a heads up. The only unfortunate thing is that you can’t rotate the angle of the umbrellas but overall a huge win and I got it at an incredible price. It’s perfect for the space and saved us needing a pergola. This is a monster! Great coverage of our ten seater dining table , love the 360 and the tilt mode. It took three adults to put it together it is massive and is a bit tricky , maybe finicky when opening it but once it is open it’s fantastic and provides excellent shade. Make note the base needs to have weight added to it I think the minimum is 660 lbs! We used landscape fabric and some rubber weight plates then covered with rocks and then black river rock . The 12 ft umbrella is exactly what we needed for our pool area to provide some shade. Assembly took about an hour to put it all together. I love that it came with a base, but note that you need a lot of sand to fill the four sandbags that are inside of the base.
